Judas of the Democratic Party, Lieberman, Turns on Barack

Joe Lieberman, who is a Republican in all but name, attacks the Middle East policy initiatives of the Democratic party and specifically those advocated by Sen. Barack Obama.  I am still for Hillary, but if Barack becomes the democratic presidential nominee, with Hillary at his side as VP, my soul and vote will be with Barack also.

In the Wall Street Journal article, Lieberman again demonstrates his bellicose nature, his willingness to sell out the U.S. in his over-the-top war-mongering about Middle East issues.  Luckily, Joe Biden, the man who actually knows foreign policy and what is probably best for the U.S. has written a response that puts the Democratic turncoat, Lieberman in his place.

How did Connecticut ever elect this Bush/Cheney tool as their senator?

RFK Jr. and Hillary

RFK, Jr. said no one should take offense at what Hillary said in reference to the June 1968 death of his father.  It's a slow news weekend, MSNBC et al have nothing else to talk about, so they are dragging the name and memory of RFK over the coals in order to continue to attack Hillary Clinton.

Shame on the media, especially Chris Matthews, et al over at MSNBC for even admitting online that they are looking for "anything" on a Memorial Day Friday to talk about.  So the memory of a great man, and reputation of the truly good American, Hillary Clinton, is dragged around so that MSNBC and other media can try to keep ratings up and people interested in their Obama-fest.

Thank you RFK, Jr. for putting this in the proper perspective...

WHERE IS JACK REED? ALL RI WANTS TO KNOW

All the other RI super delegates have made their choice.  RI went overwhelmingly for Hillary...NOT OBAMA...why isn't Jack Reed backing the citizens of RI and endorsing Hillary Clinton?  Come on Jack...Obama may get the nomination, but it is not over yet....ENDORSE HILLARY....

Playing the Race Card and Drawing Attention from Wright

Bill Clinton is being slammed as a racist, by Barack Obama's campaign, as they said in published memos that they would.  And then they wonder why Bill Clinton is angry.  Clinton has done more for the Black community than any other president.  House Whip Clyburn is now saying that Clinton is a racist and that the Clintons are trying to destroy Obama.  Excuse me, Obama is destroying himself.

Clyburn is making his point again today, and in the NYTimes yesterday because tonight Obama's America-hating pastor is coming on PBS at 9 and in the interview with Bill Moyers, claims that Obama's race speech was nothing more than "politics."  Obama doesn't believe what he said according to his pastor.

So, the Obama campaign has to neutralize that, and they think we are all stupid and will be drawn away from Obama not explaining the pastor and anti-America situation that will be all over the news tonight tomorrow and on Sunday and beyond.

Shame on Obama, Shame on Nancy Pelosi, Shame on Rep. Clyburn.  Dragging Bill Clinton down with these false accusations that he is racist!  What he said in SC is NOT by any stretch of the imagination racist.  Imagine how Jesse Jackson feels (he said he had no problem with Clinton's remarks)  when Obama is insulted at being compared to him?  Come on...

If this race baiting on the part of Obama, his team and Rep. Clyburn doesn't STOP, I WILL IN NO WAY VOTE FOR OBAMA.  I won't vote for McCain, obviously, but I will not vote for Obama.  And when Hillary wins, and she will, Obama and his team are giving nasty lines to the Republicans to beat Hillary over the head with during the November general election.

STOP PLAYING THE RACE CARD, OBAMA, please....if you win the nomination, let me vote for you...if you continue this attack on Bill ...I'm sitting out the election...and I will do everything I can to persuade everyone I know to do the same. And that means having your surrogates stop too...you know, the one's like Clyburn that have your campaign's green light.

And why haven't Jack Reed and David Cicilline and Patrick Kennedy and all those other RI super delegates who haven't come out yet or who are supporting Obama COME OUT NOW FOR HILLARY CLINTON like the overwhelming number of Rhode Island voters did in the primary?

AND, MSNBC and Chris Matthews are slamming the Clintons as usual tonight with Clyburn's remarks.  Think old Chris will give the same coverage to the Obama Pastor interview tomorrow or on Monday?  LOL...yeah, right...

Oh, BTW, we all still LOVE Willie Geist in Rhode Island!  All of us being good post-modernists, we love his pieces on popular culture.  Keep them up Willie.  My students love it!

OBAMA'S REZKO PROBLEMS WON'T DIE. WHY?

In today's Chicago Trib:  "What's troubling about this story is that at the time Obama bought the house in June 2005, allegations had already surfaced about Rezko's alleged influence-peddling. In 2005, a Feb. 13 story in the Chicago Tribune criticized Rezko's receipt of lucrative state contracts to operate restaurants on Illinois toll roads; an April 8 story said he was "under fire from Chicago's city hall" because his restaurant chain had taken two spots at O'Hare International Airport designated for minority firms; and a May 17 article reported that Rezko had been subpoenaed in a corruption probe. CLINTON EDGES OBAMA AFTER DEBATE AND "BITTER"

How Obama's "bitter" remarks and his awful performance at the most recent debate have swung sentiment to Hillary Clinton:

"A 10-point advantage that Sen. Barack Obama held over Sen. Hillary Clinton in Gallup's national daily tracking poll just one week ago has vanished - with Gallup reporting Clinton's first marginal lead over Obama among Democratic voters in a month."  more>>>>

And while Obama outspends Clinton 3 or 4 to one, Clinton will win Pennsylvania and big.  The traditional Reagan delegates won't support him and that means a huge problem for the Democrats in November if Obama is the candidate.

I'll vote for Obama to keep McCain out of the White House, but Clinton is the only one who can actually defeat McCain.

HILLARY AND JOE SCARBOROUGH

Can you imagine?  Hillary was on MSNBC today!  How's that for a shocker?  Joe Scarborough, who has given Hillary a little more respect than people like Chris Matthews over at MSNBC, welcomed her with good humor and actually gave her a chance to present her position on a couple of issues.  Good for you Joe.  For a conservative Republican, sometimes you demonstrate class.  You are no Willie Geist...but someday you might be.  ;-)

BTW, as the camera passed Willie's open laptop, it was interesting to see that all his icons on the desktop screen where placed neatly to the left.  So is Willie a neat freak?  I like that...if he is...let's see, what else can I read into the placement of his icons on the left....lol...Willie's great isn't he?

BARACK OBAMA AND HIS LIES...NO ONE MENTIONS THEM

Finally, real and fair commentators are beginning to notice how Barack lies and no one says anything...let it be Hillary, and it goes on and on...For people like Matthews over at MSNBC, Hillary bashing has become a religion. Even if Obama is a good candidate and he is...it is clearly unAmerican to treat other candidates with the disdain that MSNBC (with a few exceptions) treats Hillary Clinton. MSNBC is becoming the new Fox and Matthews the new O'Reilly...too bad.....Here's what others are saying about this sad state of affairs:

Clinton’s misstatement about coming under fire in Bosnia — whether a memory lapse or a tall tale — was lamentable. But the stampede to portray her as a consummate liar, as opposed to everyone else on the campaign trail, was an extraordinary media pile-up.

No one made a big deal when Obama, eager to portray himself as an adopted Kennedy, said that his father had come to the United States thanks to Kennedy largess. In fact, the clan had nothing to do with it. Obama also claimed to have played a big part in crafting the immigration legislation, which even his ally Dodd said was not so.

Thank goodness for the independent voices that have called attention to the ongoing gang warfare against Clinton. The Washington Post’s media writer, Howard Kurtz, has listed the particulars of the obsessive “Hillary-bashing.” Over at CNN, the tenacious Lou Dobbs hacks nightly at the weak assumptions underpinning the agitprop that Clinton can’t possibly win.

Why do so few commentators worry about defending their Obama-centric viewpoints? Because much of the public has already been indoctrinated and believes them to be fact. The Obama campaign really knows how to plow those fields — those guys are good.more>>>

OBAMA WANTS US IN IRAQ UNTIL ALMOST 2011

The New York Sun is reporting that a key adviser to Senator Obama’s campaign is recommending in a confidential paper that America keep between 60,000 and 80,000 troops in Iraq as of late 2010, a plan at odds with the public pledge of the Illinois senator to withdraw combat forces from Iraq within 16 months of taking office. MORE>>>

I bet Mika and Chris Matthews don't mention this, LOL.....And why is Patrick Kennedy backing Obama who wants the war extended until nearly 2011?  After all, most R-Islanders want it ended and ended now.
